You might even make it to the first Beacon Of The Hopeless, though soon afterward you will most likely end up as an eternal plaything for The Child Who Is Not A Child. Well done, Participant! It looks like you will survive for a very respectable two hours in the Chamber! If you do not lose your way or become a faceless extension of the Swarm That Is One Mind, you might have time to light as many as three of the 12 Beacons Of The Hopeless. Impressive! It looks like you will survive an astounding five hours in The Chamber. You have a rare knack for self-preservation that will stand you in good stead when you are forced to confront the perverse obstacles that lie in wait for you. Unfortunately, despite your unique skill set, you will eventually lose all memory of your own existence in the fog of the Vapors Of Lethe. Then, you will be doomed to aimlessly wander the labyrinthine halls of The Chamber until you are discovered by the Sightless Finder, for the Finder will devour any mind that comes across His path…even a tattered one. 12 hours

Excellent news, Participant! You can expect to remain alive in The Chamber for 12 hours. You are well prepared both mentally and physically for the horrors ahead, and we expect that you will be able to light as many as eight of the 12 Beacons Of The Hopeless during your time in the labyrinth. Sadly, all things must come to an end, including your time in The Chamber and, not coincidentally, your life. Though you may be swift of foot and sound of mind, the Residents of The Chamber are ruthless and cunning hunters. One of them will catch you eventually. You must pray that it is not the Sightless Finder. Thank you for your sacrifice to the Founder.

16 hours

Wonderful! It seems that before you are lost forever, you will manage to survive for 16 hours in The Chamber. It is quite uncommon for Participants to last this long, and for this we commend you. You will find ways to hide your scent from Gadzuhl, and when The Child Who Is Not A Child passes by your hiding place, you will be able to breathe quietly enough to escape detection. You will be able to light nearly all of the Beacons Of The Hopeless before the Sightless Finder eats your mind and consigns you to a fate worse than the slowest death. 24 hours

Incredible! It seems, Participant, that you will last an entire day in The Chamber! Such a skillful performance is rare, and you should be very proud of yourself to last this long. If you can maintain your sanity and remember your own name as you traverse the Vapors Of Lethe, you may be able to light all 12 Beacons Of The Hopeless. Sadly, you will soon discover that the lighting of the Beacons does not end your stay in The Chamber, but instead opens the gates to The Deep, which is the realm of the Truest Insanity. In the end, your mind will be a feast for the Sightless Finder. All minds become feasts for the Finder.
